''Let's Dance 2021'' is the sixteenth season of the Swedish celebrity dancing show '' Let's Dance.'' The season premiered on 20 March 2021 and ended on 15 May 2021, and broadcast on TV4. New presenters for this season are Petra Mede and David Lindgren. Contestants Singer Carola Häggkvist was the first celebrity contestant to be announced on 18 February. On 27 April, Carola Häggkvist decided to quit the show, citing health concerns as a reason. On 28 April, TV4 announced that Keyyo who was eliminated on 24 April, would return to replace Carola Häggkvist. TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. Let's Dance 2020
''Let's Dance 2020'' is the fifteenth season of the Swedish celebrity dancing show '' Let's Dance.'' The season premiered on 20 March 2020, and was broadcast on TV4. Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in Sweden, TV4 decided that a number of the season's episodes would be filmed without an audience. On 17 March, TV4 announced that because of restrictions as a result of the pandemic, actress Siw Malmkvist would not be participating in this season. She was offered a spot in the 2021 season. Because celebrity dancer Anders Jansson was suffering from a cold, the second episode of the show was cancelled; the show will feature live performances from several Swedish singers instead. During the second episode, Dr. Mikael Sandström revealed he would not continue dancing this season. Instead, he will focus on his duties as a doctor during the pandemic. Petra Maria Mede (; born 7 March 1970) is a Swedish comedian, dancer, actress and television presenter. She was born in Stockholm, and grew up in Gothenburg. Mede is known for her several roles in comic shows and as a television presenter. David Lindgren (born 28 April 1982 in Skellefteå, Sweden) is a Swedish singer, musical actor and television presenter. He is signed to the EMI Sweden label. Martin Melin (born 6 March 1967), is a Swedish author, police officer, television personality, and the world's first winner of the TV reality series Expedition Robinson (the first of the Survivor series). Melin is the son of historian Jan Melin. In 2010, Melin married author Camilla Läckberg; the now divorced couple have one child together.
