Leslie Gabriel
Leslie Gabriel (née Tuiasosopo) (born circa 1977) is the head women's volleyball coach at the University of Washington. From 2001 to 2022, she served as associate head coach and recruiting coordinator for Washington's women's volleyball team. In addition to assisting head coaches Jim McLaughlin and Keegan Cook with all administrative responsibilities, Gabriel worked with the team's setters and defense. Gabriel was four-year letterwinner who started for the Huskies from 1995 to 1998. Early life Raised in Woodinville, east of Seattle, she helped Woodinville High School to back-to-back Class AAA (now 4A) state volleyball tournament appearances as a sophomore and junior and one trip to the state basketball tournament before dropping the sport as a sophomore. Washington Huskies Women's Volleyball
The Washington Huskies volleyball team is the intercollegiate women's volleyball team of the University of Washington in Seattle. They compete in the Pac-12 Conference and play their home games at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion, which was built in 1927 and renovated in 2000. Prior to 1988, the Washington volleyball program had seen Huskies' victories, but it has now emerged as a perennial power. Marques Tuiasosopo
Marques Tavita Tuiasosopo (born March 22, 1979) is an American football coach and former player. He played professionally as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons with the Oakland Raiders and New York Jets. Tuiasosopo was selected in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Raiders with the 59th overall pick. In 2013, he joined his alma mater, the University of Washington, serving as quarterbacks coach and as interim head coach in the 2013 Fight Hunger Bowl. Tuiasosopo is currently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Rice. Nose Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. The UCLA Bruins football program represents the University of California, Los Angeles, in college football as members of the Pac-12 Conference at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level. Manu'ula Asovalu Tuiasosopo (born August 30, 1957) is a former American football defensive tackle. He was the 18th overall selection of the 1979 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at UCLA. After five years in Seattle, he played the final three seasons of his career with the San Francisco 49ers, who won Super Bowl XIX in January 1985. Post-football Tuiasosopo was last employed by the Alaska Airlines cargo department in Seattle. He currently coaches the defensive line for Monroe High School in Monroe, Washington.
