	Les Parry (footballer) Les Parry (born 3 November 1953) is an English former footballer. He played for Tranmere Rovers as a centre back over 250 times between 1975 and 1983. He made his debut for Tranmere in an away fixture against Brentford, a 2–0 loss on 9 October 1972. His first career goal came against Chesterfield in 2–1 home win in April 1977. 	Les Parry Leslie Parry, Ph.D. (born 27 November 1957) is an English physiotherapist and former manager of Tranmere Rovers Football Club from 9 October 2009 until his dismissal on 4 March 2012. Parry worked with Tranmere Rovers as physiotherapist since 1991 before succeeding John Barnes in the managerial position at Tranmere. He kept his former job during his first season as manager. Having only recruited on caretaker basis, he guided the club to five wins and three draws, earning him a permanent contract on 16 December 2009. Later that season, he staved off relegation from the League One. Managerial career Tranmere Rovers Rovers sacked manager John Barnes and his assistant, Jason McAteer, after a run of just two league wins from 11 matches on 9 October 2009. 	Mark Palios Markos Palios (born 9 November 1952) is an English chartered accountant, football administrator and former professional footballer. In August 2014, it was announced that he and his wife Nicola were taking ownership of Tranmere Rovers F.C., where he had once been a player. Playing career Palios played in the Football League as a midfielder for Tranmere Rovers for nine years and Crewe Alexandra for three years. In 1981-82 he was Crewe leading goalscorer In the latter part of his career he played as captain in the European Cup-Winners' Cup for Welsh club Bangor City. In total he made over 400 League appearances and continued playing non-league football for many years after his professional retirement. 	Russell Allen (footballer) Russell Allen (born 9 January 1954) is an English former footballer who played as a forward for West Bromwich Albion, Tranmere Rovers, Mansfield Town, and Boston United. He was the son of England international striker Ronnie Allen. Playing career Allen, a former Arsenal apprentice, turned professional at West Bromwich Albion in 1971. He never played a First Division game for Don Howe's side, and was allowed to join Third Division side Tranmere Rovers in 1973, then managed by Ron Yeats. 	Ronnie Moore Ronald David Moore (born 29 January 1953) is an English football manager and former player. He has taken charge of several clubs including Rotherham United, Tranmere Rovers and Hartlepool United. He played for many different clubs in a career spanning almost two decades, including Tranmere Rovers, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic and Rotherham United.
