Leroy Estrada
Leroy Estrada (born June 16, 1994) is a Panamanian professional boxer who challenged for the WBC mini-flyweight title in 2018. Professional career Estrada made his pro debut on September 23, 2010. Estrada was first ranked by a sanctioning body in August 2013, entering the IBF's rankings as the #15 mini-flyweight contender, with a 9-1 pro record. In May 2017, Estrada faced Saúl Juárez on a WBC title eliminator, with the winner becoming the mandatory challenger to Wanheng Menayothin. Estrada outboxed Juárez and survived a knockdown to win by unanimous decision. Estrada faced Wanheng Menayothin on May 2, 2018. He proved to be no match for the champion, who battered him and dropped him five times before knocking him out with a right uppercut in round 5. Chayaphon Moonsri ( th, ชยพล มูลศรี; formerly: ''Saengsuree Moonsri''; แสงสุรีย์ มูลศรี; born 27 October 1985), known as Wanheng Menayothin (วันเฮง มีนะโยธิน) or Wanheng Kaiyanghadaogym is a Thai professional boxer who held the WBC mini-flyweight title from 2014 to 2020. As of January 2021, he is ranked as the world's third best active mini-flyweight by BoxRec, ''The Ring'' and the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board. Unanimous Decision
A unanimous decision (UD) is a winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts and other sports involving striking and submission in which all three judges agree on which fighter won the match. In boxing, each of the three judges keep score (round by round) of which fighter they feel is winning (and losing). This only includes landed blows to the head or the body. In MMA, judges look for different criteria such as kicks, take downs, punches, knees, elbows, cage control, submission attempts and aggression. A decision is not required to be unanimous for a boxer or mixed martial artist to be given a victory. Mandatory Challenger
In professional boxing and some other combat sports, a mandatory challenger is an opponent whom a champion must either fight or be forced to vacate their title as champion. A mandatory defence is the opposite of a voluntary defence, where the champion may fight an opponent who might offer greater revenue potential than a mandatory challenger. Mandatory challengers are designated by the champion's sanctioning body; in boxing, the major sanctioning bodies are the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO. The sanctioning bodies often order eliminators between top-ranked contenders to decide who will receive the mandatory challenger status. If the champion vacates the belt, the mandatory challenger is paired against another challenger for the vacant belt. Light flyweight, also known as junior flyweight or super strawweight, is a Weight class (boxing), weight class in boxing. Professional boxing The weight limit at light flyweight in professional boxing is 108 pounds (49 kilograms). When New York (state), New York legalized boxing in 1920, the law stipulated a "junior flyweight" class, with a weight limit of 99 pounds. When the National Boxing Association was formed in 1921, it also recognized this weight class. However, on January 19, 1922, the NBA decided to withdraw recognition of the junior flyweight division. Saúl Juárez Gil (born 28 November 1990) is a Mexican professional boxer who challenged for the WBC strawweight title in 2016 and the WBC light-flyweight title in 2018. Career Juárez turned pro in 2010. He had a successful amateur career. Juárez won the Cinturón de Oro, an annual tournament for novice boxers, early on in his career.
