Andreas Leonhardt
Andreas Leonhardt (19 April 1800, Asch, Bohemia (now Aš, Czech Republic) – 3 October 1866, Vienna, Austrian Empire) was an Austrian musician, composer and conductor. He was instrumental in the reorganization of the military music system in the Austrian Empire. Life Leonhardt was the son of a cloth merchant. After his musical education in Eger, he entered the band of the infantry regiment "Kaiser Alexander" in Vienna in 1818. In his spare time, he studied music. With the regiment he was transferred to Naples in 1820. There he also took lessons with Niccolò Antonio Zingarelli, director of the Conservatory and conductor at the Naples Cathedral. When the regiment was transferred to Prague, he remained a member of regimental music and studied composition with Václav Tomášek. Jessi Slaughter Cyberbullying Case
The Jessi Slaughter cyberbullying case was an American criminal case that revolved around an 11-year-old named Jessica Leonhardt (known online as "Jessi Slaughter" and "Kerligirl13"), whose profanity-laden videos went viral on Stickam and YouTube in 2010. The videos were made in response to accusations that a friend had raped Leonhardt, and that Leonhardt had a sexual relationship with the lead singer of the electropop band Blood on the Dance Floor, a man named Dahvie Vanity (real name Jesus David Torres) while Leonhardt was a minor. This resulted in a campaign of telephone and internet harassment against Leonhardt and their family, chiefly attributed to 4chan users and members of the internet-based group Anonymous. It began a debate about the dangers of anonymity on the Internet, and whether or not the Internet is a safe environment for minors, and all people in general. Ulf Leonhardt, FRSE (born 9 October 1965 in Bad Schlema, East Germany) is a German and British scientist. In 2006, he published the first scientific paper on invisibility cloaking with metamaterials at the same time Pendry's group published their paper in the journal ''Science''. Robert Leonhardt (December 27, 1872 – February 2, 1923) was an Austrian operatic baritone who sang several notable roles with the New York Metropolitan Opera between 1913 and 1922. He made numerous recordings for major record labels, both in Europe and in the United States. Biography Leonhardt was born in 1872 in Linz. His operatic debut was in 1898, in Linz. For four years he found permanent employment at the German Theatre in Prague starting in 1905. Specializing in Wagnerian roles, he sang in Brno from 1909 to 1911, and from 1911 until 1913 with the Vienna Volksoper while also guesting with the Vienna Imperial Opera in 1909 and the Berlin Gura Summer Opera in 1910. Paige Leonhardt (born 21 September 2000) is an Australian swimmer. She represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, where she won a silver medal. Personal life Leonhardt was born on 21 September 2000. At the age of five she was involved in a car accident that left her with severe injuries. She spent four years recovering. The accident left her with hemiplegia cerebral palsy on her right side as well as intercranial hypertension, epilepsy and autism. The intercranial hypertension means that she regularly needs to have excess fluid on the brain removed via a spinal tap. The calcium build-up behind her eyes causes drusen which will one day lead to a loss of eyesight. Olive Ellzey Leonhardt (1895 -1963) was an illustrator and artist. She was born in Jackson, Mississippi, the daughter of Vernon Clifton Ellzey and Caroline Turnipseed. She attended Newcomb College (1914–15), The New York School of Fine and Applied Arts (later to be renamed Parsons) in 1915-16, and The Art Students League in 1926, where she studied with George Bridgman and Homer Boss. Olive Leonhardt drew the covers for '' The Double Dealer: A National Magazine from The South'' in 1921-22 and showed at the New Orleans Arts and Crafts Club.
