Leonard White (May 3, 1767October 10, 1849) was a United States representative from Massachusetts. He graduated from Harvard University in 1787. Leonard White (physician)
Leonard D. White, M.D. (1856-1906) was a late 19th-century physician and one of the Health Officers in Massachusetts who was involved with the earliest study of mosquitoes and malaria and efforts for community prevention of malaria. He served as chairman of the Board of Health in Uxbridge. Biography He was born September 7, 1856, in Douglas, Massachusetts. He was the son of Dr. David P. and Clarissa Darlin). He attended the Mowry and Goff School and was tutored by Joshua Mason Macomber of the Uxbridge Academy. He completed his education at Harvard Medical School. He practiced as a generalist, a country doctor, in Uxbridge Massachusetts. He married Lillian Belle Brown on July 20, 1882. They had one child, Charles W. born on March 18, 1886. Leonard White (producer)
Leonard White (5 November 1916 – 2 January 2016) was a British actor and television producer. In the latter role he was responsible for '' The Avengers'' and ''Armchair Theatre''. Early life White was born in Newhaven, East Sussex. His father was a bookmaker and racehorse owner, and his mother ran a wholesale newsagents business. He was introduced to acting by the headmaster of his school, who ran a boys' Shakespearean acting troupe. Career After leaving school, White pursued a career as a stage actor in London. Initially, he supported himself with a clerical job while performing with the Tavistock Repertory Company (now the Tower Theatre Company). During World War II, he served in the British Army in Signals; following the end of World War II in Europe, he did the remainder of his service acting in plays produced by the Army Bureau of Current Affairs. Leonard White (basketball)
Leonard White (born February 21, 1971) is an American former professional basketball player. He is listed at 6'7" and weighed 224 lbs. Born in Century, Florida, White started playing collegiate ball with the Faulkner State Community College (1989–1991) and is still the all-time leading scorer of the Sun Chiefs with a 22.7 ppg average. He later transferred to Southern University (1991–1993) and led the Jaguars in scoring his last two years there. White entered the 1993 NBA draft and was picked 53rd in the second round by the Los Angeles Clippers; however, he was not signed and never got to play in the NBA. He played a few games in the French professional league in Pau Orthez but it is in the CBA where White will be making his mark in his professional basketball career as one of the league leaders in statistics for games played, minutes played, scoring, rebounds and steals. Leonard "Lenny" White III (born December 19, 1949) is an American jazz fusion drummer who was a member of the band Return to Forever led by Chick Corea in the 1970s. White has been called "one of the founding fathers of jazz fusion". He has won three Grammy awards, two nominations and one Latin Grammy. Early life and education Born in Queens, New York City, White became interested in music at a young age. As a self taught drummer he started off his career playing with groups at the New York jazz scene. While he was living at home, his father would take him to gigs. Early on he played clubs in Queens New York such as the Aphrodisiac, Slugs, and The Gold Lounge. It was at The Gold Lounge where he had his first gig with saxophonist Jackie McLean.
