Leonard Borgzinner
Geir Arne Olsen (1957 - 1990), better known under his pen-name Leonard Borgzinner, was a Norwegian essayist, self-taught political philosopher, science fiction author, illustrator and fanzine editor. Borgzinner is most noted for his many contributions to the alternative culture magazine ''Gateavisa'' and for his two books, a collection of science fiction and fantasy stories, ''Universets varmedød og andre selvmord'' (1981; "The Heat-Death of the Universe and other Suicides") and a collection of essays in political philosophy, ''Anarki og adel: elementer til en kulturrevolusjon'' (1998; "Anarchy and Nobility: Elements towards a Cultural Revolution"). As an illustrator he was known for his often satirical drawings for fanzines and underground publications, including some comic strips. Fanzine
A fanzine (blend word, blend of ''fan (person), fan'' and ''magazine'' or ''-zine'') is a non-professional and non-official publication produced by fan (person), enthusiasts of a particular cultural phenomenon (such as a literary or musical genre) for the pleasure of others who share their interest. The term was coined in an October 1940 science fiction fanzine by Russ Chauvenet and first popularized within science fiction fandom, and from there the term was adopted by other communities. Typically, publishers, editors, writers and other contributors of Article (publishing), articles or illustrations to fanzines are not paid. Paul-Michel Foucault (, ; ; 15 October 192625 June 1984) was a French philosopher, historian of ideas, writer, political activist, and literary critic. Foucault's theories primarily address the relationship between power and knowledge, and how they are used as a form of social control through societal institutions. Thomas Hylland Eriksen
Thomas Hylland Eriksen (born February 6, 1962) is a Norwegian anthropologist. He is currently a professor of social anthropology at the University of Oslo, as well as the 2015–2016 president of the European Association of Social Anthropologists. He is a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. Academic career Born in Oslo, Eriksen has done fieldwork in Trinidad and Mauritius, and later in Norway and Australia. He is currently doing research on scale and globalisation in the Seychelles. His fields of research include identity, nationalism, globalisation and identity politics. Eriksen finished his ''dr. polit.'' degree in 1991, and was made a professor in 1995, at the age of 33. From 1993 to 2001 he was editor of the bimonthly cultural journal ''Samtiden''. Tramteatret was a Norwegian left-oriented theatre performance group active from 1976 to 1986. The group included the members Marianne Krogness, Liv Aakvik, Terje Nordby, Kine Hellebust and others. Their first production was the satirical ''Deep sea thriller'', with references to the Bravo accident in April 1977, the largest oil blowout on the Norwegian shelf. (Norwegian: ''Street Newspaper'') is a countercultural magazine. It was first produced by an anarchist collective in 1970 at Hjelmsgate 3 in Oslo and focuses on anti-authoritarian topics. In it heyday in the early 1980s, an issue examining the stolen rubbish of two prime ministerial candidates sold over 20,000 copies. In 2020, a book celebrated 50 years of the magazine. History was first produced at Hjelmsgate 3 in 1970, as an anarchist magazine, released monthly. The editorial collective included anthropologist Thomas Hylland Eriksen. The anti-authoritarian magazine at first covered occultism and mysticism then changed its focus. Inspired by Kristiania Bohemians, surrealism, Dadaism and existentialism, at its peak in the late 1970s and early 1980s, the magazine had a greater circulation than and ''Ny Tid''.
