Leon Braithwaite
Leon Jerome Braithwaite (born 17 December 1972) is an English former footballer. He played for Exeter City, making a total of 66 Football League appearances. He made appearances for Margate, scoring 38 goals. He joined Margate from Welling United in 2000 and had two spells with the club, leaving for the second time in 2005. Braithwaite's spell at St. Patrick's Athletic in the League of Ireland was notable for a number of key goals, including a winning goal against title rivals Cork City in Turner's Cross. Darren Braithwaite
Darren Braithwaite (born 20 January 1969) is a retired British sprinter. Braithwaite was a member of the British team which set a world indoor record for the rarely contested 4×200 metres relay on 3 March 1991 in Glasgow. Braithwaite and his teammates Linford Christie, Ade Mafe and John Regis ran a time of 1:22.11, which has yet to be bettered. Braithwaite won a bronze medal in the 4×100 metres relay event at the 1991 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo (together with Tony Jarrett, John Regis and Linford Christie). He repeated this achievement at the 1997 World Athletics Championships in Athens (together with Darren Campbell, Douglas Walker and Julian Golding). Braithwaite was the 100 metres champion at the AAA Championships in 1995. Braithwaite now teaches physical education at Lammas School and Sports College in Leyton, and coaches the likes of Jordon Roberts London. The League of Ireland ( ga, Sraith na hÉireann), together with the Football Association of Ireland, is one of the two main governing bodies responsible for organising association football in the Republic of Ireland. The term was originally used to refer to a single division league. However today the League of Ireland features five divisions – the Premier Division, the First Division, U19 Division, U17 Division, U15 Division and starting U13 Division.
