Leo P. Lamoureux Memorial Trophy
The Leo P. Lamoureux Memorial Trophy was awarded annually to the International Hockey League's leading point scorer. The trophy was donated by Melvin T. Ross, the manager of the Indiana State Fair Coliseum, in memoriam of Leo Lamoureux, coach of the Indianapolis Chiefs, who died during the 1960–1961 season. Prior to 1961, the top scorer award was known as the George H. Wilkinson Trophy, named after Lt.-Col., George H. Warren Haynes
Warren Haynes (born April 6, 1960) is an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known for his work as longtime guitarist with the Allman Brothers Band and as founding member of the jam band Gov't Mule. Early in his career he was a guitarist for David Allan Coe and The Dickey Betts Band. Haynes also is known for his associations with the surviving members of the Grateful Dead, including touring with Phil Lesh and Friends and the Dead. In addition, Haynes founded and manages Evil Teen Records. Richard James Bragnalo (born December 1, 1951) is a Canadian retired ice hockey centre. Bragnalo was born in Fort William, Ontario. After playing college hockey at the University of Denver, Bragnalo was signed by the Washington Capitals as a free agent in 1976. Bragnalo played parts of four seasons for the Capitals. Gary Ford (born 8 February 1961) is an English former footballer who played on the right-wing. He made 435 appearances in all competitions for York City, scoring 64 goals, between 1979 and 1987 – a tally beaten by only four York City players. He then moved on to Port Vale via Leicester City. Len Thornson
Len Thornson (February 4, 1933 – December 12, 2021) was a Canadian ice hockey centre. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Thornson spent his entire professional hockey career in the International Hockey League, mostly with the Fort Wayne Komets. He also spent part of one season (1956–57) with the Indianapolis Chiefs and the Huntington Hornets. He is the IHL's all-time leading scorer with 1,252 career points.
