Lenora Hume
Lenora Hume is a Canadian animation Producer, Cinematographer, and Production Executive who has worked for Nelvana, The Walt Disney Company, and Hit Entertainment. Career Hume graduated from Toronto's Havergal College in 1970, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Waterloo four years later. In 1976, the Toronto animation company Nelvana hired her as a cinematographer, a position she held for several of its first television specials including ''The Devil and Daniel Mouse''. Hume served as director of photography for its first animated feature, 1983's ''Rock & Rule''. For its next effort, 1985's '' The Care Bears Movie'', she served as supervising producer and worked with Korean and Taiwanese crew. Lenora also began producing television animation. ''Darkwing Duck'' is an American animated superhero comedy television series produced by Disney Television Animation (formerly Walt Disney Television Animation) that first ran from 1991 to 1992 on both the syndicated programming block ''The Disney Afternoon'' and Saturday mornings on ABC. ''TaleSpin'' is an American animated television series first aired in 1990 as a preview on Disney Channel and later that year as part of ''The Disney Afternoon''. It features characters adapted from Disney's 1967 animated feature ''The Jungle Book'' (namely, some of the film's animals being given an anthropomorphic makeover while the humans are removed), which was theatrically rereleased in the summer before this show premiered in the fall. Beetlejuice (TV Series)
''Beetlejuice'' is an animated television series that ran from September 9, 1989, to October 26, 1991, on ABC, and on Fox from September 9, 1991, to December 6, 1991. Loosely based on the 1988 film of the same name, it was developed by the film's director Tim Burton who also served as an executive producer. Gemini Award
The Gemini Awards were awards given by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television between 1986–2011 to recognize the achievements of Canada's television industry. The Gemini Awards are analogous to the Emmy Awards given in the United States and the BAFTA Television Awards in the United Kingdom. First held in 1986 to replace the ACTRA Award, the ceremony celebrated Canadian television productions with awards in 87 categories, along with other special awards such as lifetime achievement awards. The Academy had previously presented the one-off Bijou Awards in 1981, inclusive of some television productions.
