Lenoir Grammar School
Lenoir Grammar School, also known as East Harper School, is a historic elementary school building located at Lenoir, Caldwell County, North Carolina. It was built in 1927, and is a two-story, five bay, Classical Revival-style brick school. Additions were made in 1951-1952 and 1958. The school was closed after a fire in 1987, and renovated into apartments in the 1990s. Lenoir is a city in and the county seat of Caldwell County, North Carolina, Caldwell County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 18,263 at the 2020 census. Lenoir is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. To the northeast are the Brushy Mountains (North Carolina), Brushy Mountains, a spur of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Caldwell County is a county in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. As of the 2020 census, the population was 80,652.
