Lennie Louw
Jan Leonardus Louw (born 19 June 1959), known as Lennie Louw, is a South African-born Namibian cricketer. Louw made his One Day International debut for Namibia in the World Cup in 2003 at the age of 43, having spent the previous 27 years playing first-class cricket in South Africa. He also played in the ICC Trophy between 1994 and 2001. At the 2001 ICC Trophy The 2001 ICC Trophy was a cricket tournament played in Ontario, Canada in 2001. It was the Cricket World Cup qualification tournament for the 2003 Cricket World Cup. Three spots in the World Cup were on offer and the Netherlands, host nation Canada ..., he also coached Namibia. In February 2020, he was named in Namibia's squad for the Over-50s Cricket World Cup in South Africa. However, the tournament was cancelled during the third round of matches due to the coronavirus pandemic. Barkly West
Barkly West is a town in the Northern Cape province of South Africa, situated on the north bank of the Vaal River west of Kimberley, Northern Cape, Kimberley. Establishment and naming Barkly West was the site of the first major diamond rush, in 1870, on the South African Diamond Fields, and was initially known as ''Klip Drift'' (sometimes written as Klipdrift). This Dutch name means "stony ford" and is a direct translation from a much older !Kora or Korana name, ''Ka-aub'' (or ''!a , aub'') - "stony (place along a) river". The Griquas (; af, Griekwa, often confused with ''!Orana'', which is written as ''Korana'' or ''Koranna'') are a subgroup of heterogeneous former Khoe-speaking nations in Southern Africa with a unique origin in the early history of the Cape Colony.
