Lennart Alexandersson
Lennart Alexandersson (born 31 March 1947) is a Swedish former footballer who played for Halmstads BK in the 1960s and 1970s. He is the father of football players, Niclas and Daniel Alexandersson. In 1965, Halmstads was demoted to Division 3. From 1966 to 1968, the team regained their Division 2 status after dominating Division 3 with a goal difference of 87 to 23, a record in the Swedish league system. After Halmstads triumphant return to Division 2, Alexandersson along with three other teammates became the first contracted players for the club. After his retirement from football, Lennart settled in Falkenberg with his wife and three sons. Two of his sons eventually went on to play for Halmstads BK. Halmstads Bollklubb, also known simply as Halmstad () or (especially locally) HBK or Bollklubben, is a Swedish Association football, football club located in Halmstad in the county of Halland. The club, formed 7 February 1914 and approved membership in the Swedish Sports Confederation on 6 March the same year. Niclas Alexandersson
Jens Niclas Alexandersson (born 29 December 1971) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a right winger and right back. Beginning his career with Halmstads BK in 1989, he went on to represent IFK Göteborg, Sheffield Wednesday, Everton, and West Ham United before retiring in 2009. A full international between 1993 and 2008, he won 109 caps for the Sweden national team and represented his country at two FIFA World Cups ( 2002 and 2006) and two UEFA European Championships (2000 and 2008). Club career After starting his career with local club Vessigebro BK he moved to Halmstads BK in 1988. He played for the team until 1995, when he joined IFK Göteborg, with whom he won Allsvenskan in 1996 and played in the UEFA Champions League. Daniel Alexandersson
Daniel Alexandersson (born 3 December 1978) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or forward. He is the younger brother of Niclas Alexandersson. Career Alexandersson started his youth career at Vessigebro BK and continued his early career at Halmstads BK, where his brother and father had played. He also played for Falkenbergs FF and Danish side Viborg FF before joining IF Elfsborg in 2005. During his tenure at IF Elsborg, he was in the starting eleven. In the 2006 Allsvenskan, he scored five goals and won the Swedish Championship gold. In 2008, Alexandersson left Elfsborg for IFK Göteborg where he played alongside his brother Niclas who retired after the 2008 season. In early 2010 Alexandersson chose to return to Falkenbergs FF. Division 3 had status as the official third level from 1928 to 1986, but was replaced by Division 2 in 1987. Falkenberg
Falkenberg is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and the seat of Falkenberg Municipality, Halland County, Sweden, with 27,813 inhabitants in 2019 (out of a municipal total of about 45,000). Svenska Cupen (, ''The Swedish Cup'') is a knockout cup competition in Swedish football and the main Swedish football cup. Svenska Cupen usually refers to the men's tournament, although a women's tournament is also held. Each year 96 teams compete, comprising the 16 teams from Allsvenskan and the 16 teams of Superettan together with 64 teams from lower tiers of the league system.
