Just Betzer
Just Betzer (11 June 1944 – 6 November 2003), was a Danish Oscar-winning film producer, born in Åbyhøj, Denmark. Betzer began his career managing the candy concession and as an alternate projectionist at his father's theater in Aarhus, Denmark, in 1955. In 1960, Betzer founded Panorama Film production/distribution company in Denmark, which has since made over 30 feature films. He later opened a chain of 13 theatres throughout Denmark. In 1985, Betzer moved to England, and started the London-based company Panorama Film International with offices in Copenhagen, Denmark and Los Angeles, California. In 1987, the film ''Babette's Feast'', produced by Betzer, was released. ''Babette's Feast'' won the Academy Award for Best Foreign-Language Film, and the BAFTA Best Foreign Film award, in 1988. Comedy Film
A comedy film is a category of film which emphasizes humor. These films are designed to make the audience laugh through amusement. Films in this style traditionally have a happy ending (black comedy being an exception). Comedy is one of the oldest genres in film and it is derived from the classical comedy in theatre. The Bodil Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role ( da, Bodilprisen for bedste mandlige birolle) is one of the merit categories presented by the Danish Film Critics Association at the annual Bodil Awards. Created in 1948, it is one of the oldest film awards in Europe, and it honours the best performance by an actor in a supporting role in a Danish produced film. Dirch Hartvig Passer (18 May 1926 – 3 September 1980) was a celebrated Danish actor. He was greatly renowned for his improvisational skills and, with a filmography comprising 90 movies, one of Denmark's most prolific actors. His life is depicted in the Danish semi-biographical film ''A Funny Man'' (2011, Danish title ''Dirch'') directed by Martin Zandvliet. Otto Herman Max Brandenburg (4 September 1934 – 1 March 2007) was a Danish musician, singer and actor. Career Music and Theatre He debuted in 1955 in the ensemble Four Jacks, but quickly became a soloist producing Danish rock. He then adapted his pop songs to folk music and jazz and became a popular actor. Brandenburg released records in Sweden and Germany under the name "Ole Brandenburg". In 1960, he unsuccessfully participated in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with the song "To Lys På Et Bord" (two lights on one board).
