Lely High School is a four-year Public High School, public high school located in Lely Resort, Florida, Lely Resort, Collier County, Florida, about southeast of Naples, Florida, Downtown Naples. The school serves Naples Manor, Florida, Naples Manor, Marco Island, Florida, Marco Island, Lely, Florida, Lely, Verona Walk, Florida, Verona Walk, and some unincorporated areas of Collier County. The school is a part of the District School Board of Collier County. Lely's Feeder Schools are East Naples Middle, Manatee Middle, and Marco Island Charter Middle. History Lely High School opened its doors to students in the 1974-75 school year. In the 1990s the population of Naples was rising. As a result, Lely was becoming overcrowded, so three new buildings were added onto the school. Key Club
Key Club International, also called Key Club, is an international service organization for high school students. As a student-led organization, Key Club's goal is to encourage leadership through serving others. Key Club International is the high school branch of the Kiwanis International family, classifying as a Service Leadership Program and more specifically as a Kiwanis Youth Program. Color Guard (flag Spinning)
Color guards or flag corps are teams of performers who perform choreographed dances and routines with various equipment to enhance and interpret the music of a marching band or drum and bugle corps show. Color guard teams can be found in American colleges, universities, high schools, middle schools and independent drum corps. They use various equipment including flags, non-functioning rifles, and sabres, along with other props. Most Color Guard groups are of mixed gender but some may also be single gender. Jazz Band
