Lélia Abramo
Lélia Abramo (February 8, 1911 – April 9, 2004) was an Italian-Brazilian actress and political activist. Biography Daughter of Italian immigrants, Abramo was born and died in São Paulo, but lived in Italy from 1938 to 1950, suffering through the privations of World War II. Along with her brothers Cláudio Abramo and plastic artist Lívio Abramo she is part of one of the most prominent families in Brazilian history in both politics and the arts. She participated in the early foundation of the (''Left Opposition in Brazil''). Along with Mario Pedrosa, she has always been considered a sympathizer of trotskysm. Lélia Abramo was also a militant and was one of the founder of the Partido dos Trabalhadores (''Worker's Party'') along with Mario Pedrosa, Manuel da Conceição, Sérgio Buarque de Holanda, Moacir Gadotti and Apolônio de Carvalho. Leila Al Solh ( ar, ليلى الصلح; born 1946) is the vice president of Alwaleed bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation and a former Lebanese minister of industry. Early life and education Born in Beirut in 1946, Leila Al Solh is the youngest daughter of the late former Lebanese Prime Minister Riad Al Solh. She is the aunt of Al Waleed bin Talal. She studied at the department of oriental studies of Saint Joseph University, Beirut. Career Leila Al Solh served as the minister of industry in the cabinet led by Prime Minister Omar Karami from 2004 to 2005, making her one of the early woman ministers in Lebanon. She sank in Liverpool Bay in 1865 in an incident that caused 46 fatalities. History ''Lelia'' was built by William C Miller & Company of Toxteth as one of a trio of blockade running sister ships ordered for the Anglo-Confederate concern, William G. Crenshaw & Company. Lelia Lake is an Unincorporated area, unincorporated community in central Donley County, Texas, United States. It lies along U.S. Route 287 in Texas, U.S. Route 287, southeast of the city of Clarendon, Texas, Clarendon, the county seat of Donley County. Lake Lelia is a natural fresh water lake on the south side of Avon Park, Florida. The northeast section of the lake is within the Avon Park city limits. The lake is longest east to west, being approximately long. Its north-to-south width averages at wide. The Florida Atlas of Lakes lists Lake Lelia as having a surface area of . This lake is bounded by South Florida Community College at its south shore. A few houses dot its shore, but is it mostly bounded by woods and citrus trees.
