''Leisure Panic!'' is a solo album by Australian rock musician, Dan Kelly. It was released in October 2015 through ABC Music/Universal Music Australia Universal Music Australia Pty Ltd. Labels Universal Musi .... Kelly recorded it over two years in East London, Northern New South Wales, Melbourne and Sydney with members of the Dan Kelly Dream Band. It was produced by Kelly and, long-term collaborator, Aaron Cupples. ''Leisure Panic!'' peaked at No. 10 on the ARIA Hitseekers Albums Chart. It provided two singles, "Never Stop the Rot" (2015) and "Everything's Amazing" (2016). Dan Kelly (musician)
Daniel O Kelly (born Daniel Kelly; 1974), known as Dan Kelly, is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has released music as part of Dan Kelly and the Alpha Males. Biography 1974–1999: Early Years Dan Kelly grew up in Queensland, on the Gold Coast, attended a Catholic school, in Beenleigh, and was the second oldest of six children. He learnt the guitar at thirteen and later studied Environmental Science at Griffith University in Brisbane. He formed his first band, Nord, in Brisbane before moving to Melbourne in 1996. Kelly reflected saying "I moved down to St Kilda in '96 and lived with my uncle aul Kellyand aunt and worked as a dishwasher for years. Then I was the kitchen-hand and after that I worked as a cook. Australian Rock
Rock music in Australia, also known as Oz rock, Australian rock and Aussie rock, is rock music from Australia. ARIA Charts
The ARIA Charts are the main Australian music sales charts, issued weekly by the Australian Recording Industry Association. The charts are a record of the highest selling songs and albums in various genres in Australia. ARIA became the official Australian music chart in June 1988, succeeding the Kent Music Report, which had been Australia's national music sales charts since 1974. The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) is a trade association representing the Australian recording industry which was established in the 1970s by six major record companies, EMI, Festival, CBS, RCA, WEA and Universal replacing the Association of Australian Record Manufacturers (AARM) which was formed in 1956. It oversees the collection, administration and distribution of music licenses and royalties. The Australian Music Prize (often shortened to the AMP) is an annual award of $30,000 given to an Australian band or solo artist in recognition of the merit of an album released during the year of award. The award was made by Australian Music Prize Ltd, a sole-purpose entity sponsored by a variety of music industry figures and record companies. The AMP was established in 2005.
