Leipzig-Engelsdorf marshalling yard (''Bahnhof Leipzig-Engelsdorf'') is the central marshalling yard in the Leipzig rail node in the German state of Saxony. Until it was closed in 1994, there was also a marshalling yard at Leipzig-Wahren station. It is located on the Leipzig–Dresden, Engelsdorf–Leipzig-Connewitz and Leipzig-Wahren–Engelsdorf railways in the Leipzig suburb of Engelsdorf. The halts of ''Leipzig Werkstättenstraße'' (on the Leipzig–Geithain railway) and ''Leipzig-Engelsdorf Hp'' (''Haltepunkte'', on the Leipzig–Dresden railway) are located in the marshalling yard area. Wurzen Railway Station
Wurzen railway station (german: Bahnhof Wurzen) is a railway station in Wurzen, Saxony, Germany. The station is located on the Leipzig–Dresden line and operated by DB Station&Service. Services Railway services As of March 2017, DB Regio and S-Bahn Mitteldeutschland services call at the station. RE 50 operates hourly, S4 every 30 minutes. An Ausbesserungswerk (abbreviation AW or Aw) is a railway facility in German-speaking countries, the primary function of which is the repair (and formerly also the construction) of railway vehicles or their components. It is thus equivalent to a 'repair shop' or 'works'. It is also referred to as a Centralwerkstatt or Zentralwerkstatt (central workshop) or Hauptwerkstatt (main workshop). A ''Bahnbetriebswerk'' is the equivalent of a locomotive depot (or motive power depot) on the German and Austrian railways. It is an installation that carries out the maintenance, minor repairs, refuelling and cleaning of locomotives and other motive power. In addition it organises the deployment of locomotives and crews. In the Deutsche Bahn, a ''Bahnbetriebswerk'' is known today as a ''Betriebshof''; the ÖBB refer to it as a ''Zugförderungsstelle'' (''Zf''). Many other countries simply use the term 'depot'. In public transport, a request stop, flag stop, or whistle stop is a stop or station at which buses or trains, respectively, stop only on request; that is, only if there are passengers or freight to be picked up or dropped off. Borsdorf
Borsdorf is a municipality in the Leipzig district in Saxony, Germany.
