Leigha Brown
Leigha Brown (born July 14, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the AE Sedis Bàsquet of the Liga Femenina de Baloncesto. She played college basketball at Nebraska and Michigan. College career Brown began her collegiate at Nebraska during the 2018–19 season. In her freshman year, she averaged 9.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. She appeared in all 30 games, starting the final six games of the season. On February 10, 2019, she recorded a then career-high 30 points in a game against Purdue. During the 2019–20 season, in her sophomore year, she led Nebraska in scoring, and averaged 14.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. The Michigan Wolverines women's basketball team is the intercollegiate women's basketball program representing the University of Michigan. The school competes in the Big Ten Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Nazahrah Ansaria Hillmon (born April 5, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She played college basketball at Michigan, where she is Michigan's all-time leader in rebounds, double-doubles, and free throws made. As a junior she was named a first-team All-American and Big Ten Player of the Year. She also represented the United States at the 2019 FIBA Under-19 Women's Basketball World Cup and won a gold medal. ''The Michigan Daily'' is the weekly student newspaper of the University of Michigan. Its first edition was published on September 29, 1890. The newspaper is financially and editorially independent of the University's administration and other student groups, but shares a university building with other student publications on 420 Maynard Street, north of the Michigan Union and Huetwell Student Activities Center. In 2007, renovations to the historic building at 420 Maynard were completed, funded entirely by private donations from alumni. The 2021 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 64 teams to determine the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college basketball national champion for the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season.
