Leif Halse
Leif Torvald Halse (7 July 1896 – 8 February 1984) was a Norwegian teacher, novelist, short story writer, children's writer, comics writer and local historian, particularly known for the comics series '' Vangsgutane''. Biography He was born in Halsa and grew up in Todal, Surnadal. He was employed at Levanger Teacher School ('' Levanger lærerhøgskole'') from 1914-17, later working at Hommelvik, where he was a teacher and local historian. Halse made his literary debut in 1920 with the story collection ''UIv''. He later wrote novels, children's books and local history books. He edited the anthologies ''Trønderkveld'' (1943) and ''I trønder-lag'' (1944). Halsa
Halsa is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until 2020 when it became part of Heim Municipality in Trondelag county. It was part of the Nordmøre region. The administrative centre of Halsa was the village of Liabøen. Other villages in the municipality included Todalen, Halsanaustan, Valsøyfjord, Engan, Hjellnes, and Valsøybotnen. At the time of its dissolution in 2020, the municipality was the 279th largest by area out of the 422 municipalities in Norway. Halsa was the 349th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 1,571. The municipality's population density was and its population has decreased by 6% over the last decade. Annasif Døhlen (23 June 1930 – 5 January 2021) was a Norwegian sculptor. Biography Born in Stavanger on 23 June 1930, Døhlen was a daughter of sculptor Aimée Døhlen and Herman Døhlen. Among her works are portraits of Johan Scharffenberg, Håkon Bleken and David Monrad Johansen, and a sculpture of Olav V of Norway, ''Skiglede'', placed at the Holmenkollen ski arena. Levanger is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the district of Innherred. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Levanger. Some of the notable villages in the municipality include Alstadhaug, Ekne, Hokstad, Markabygd, Momarka, Frol, Mule, Nesset, Okkenhaug, Ronglan, Skogn, and Åsen.
