Lehua Sandbo
Lehualani Ehukai Nahina (née Sandbo) (born February 7, 1983 in Haleiwa, Hawaii, United States) is a former singer of Norwegian, Hawaiian, Filipino, Irish, Spanish, and Chinese ancestry. Better known by the stage name , she joined Hello! Project in 2000 as the only second generation member of Coconuts Musume. Biography Sandbo had known she wanted to be an actress or singer since a young age. Her first year of high school at St. Francis School in Mānoa, Oahu, she was cast as the lead in her school musical. According to Sandbo in ainterview from 2003 she first heard of the Coconuts Musume auditions from her aunt who read about it in a Hawaii newspaper. She says, After being called back for an audition in Waikīkī, Sandbo had sung her rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" (originally by Dolly Parton). Haleiwa
Haleiwa () is a North Shore community and census-designated place (CDP) in the Waialua District of the island of Oahu, City and County of Honolulu. Haleiwa is located on Waialua Bay, the mouth of Anahulu Stream (also known as Anahulu River). A small boat harbor is located here, and the shore of the bay is surrounded by Haleiwa Beach Park (north side) and Haleiwa Alii Beach Park (south side). Further west from the center of town is Kaiaka State Recreation Area on Kiaka Point beside Kaiaka Bay. As of the 2020 census, the CDP had a population of 4,941. The 2018 estimate was 4,040. It is the largest commercial center on the North Shore of the island. Its old plantation town character is preserved in many of the buildings, making this a popular destination for tourists and residents alike, visiting surfing and diving sites along the north shore. The coconut tree (''Cocos nucifera'') is a member of the palm tree family ( Arecaceae) and the only living species of the genus ''Cocos''. The Miss Hawaii USA competition, previously known as Miss Hawaii Universe, is a beauty pageant that selects the representative for the state of Hawaii in the Miss USA pageant. Kiana Yamat of Honolulu was crowned Miss Hawaii USA 2022 on February 19, 2022 at Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. She represented Hawaii for the title of Miss USA 2022.
