''Legião Urbana'' () is the self-titled debut album by Brazilian rock music, rock band Legião Urbana. It was released on January 2, 1985. "Será" was selected as the album's first single and it received a video, shot on May 25, 26 and 27, 1985 at the nightclub Rose Bom Bom, in São Paulo, directed by Toniko Melo. All tracks were already ready before the album's sessions, except for "Por Enquanto". ''Legião Urbana'' sold a total of 550,000 copies and, in 2007, the Brazilian edition of ''Rolling Stone'' magazine elected ''Legião Urbana'' as 40th in the List of Rolling Stone Brasil 100 Greatest Brazilian Music Records, 100 Greatest Brazilian Music Records. Legião Urbana (Portuguese for Urban Legion) was a Brazilian rock band formed in 1982 in Brasília, Federal District (Brazil), Distrito Federal. The band primarily consisted of Renato Russo (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards), Dado Villa-Lobos (guitar), Renato Rocha (bassist), Renato Rocha (bass), and Marcelo Bonfá (drums, keyboards). Rocha left the band in 1989, and the band continued as a trio until their disbandment, with Russo becoming the band's ''de facto'' bassist after Rocha's departure. Following Rocha's death in 2015, Villa-Lobos and Bonfá are the last surviving members of the band's principal lineup. Joy Division
Joy Division were an English Rock music, rock band formed in Salford in 1976. The group consisted of vocalist, guitarist and lyricist Ian Curtis, guitarist and keyboardist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook and drummer Stephen Morris (musician), Stephen Morris. Sumner and Hook formed the band after attending a June 1976 Sex Pistols concert. Robert Clark Seger ( ; born May 6, 1945) is a retired American singer, songwriter, and musician. As a locally successful Detroit-area artist, he performed and recorded with the groups Bob Seger and the Last Heard and the Bob Seger System throughout the 1960s, breaking through with his first album, '' Ramblin' Gamblin' Man'' (which contained his first national hit of the same name) in 1969. Reverberation
In acoustics, reverberation (commonly shortened to reverb) is a persistence of sound after it is produced. It is often created when a sound is reflection (physics), reflected on surfaces, causing multiple reflections that build up and then decay as the sound is absorbed by the surfaces of objects in the space – which could include furniture, people, and air. This is most noticeable when the sound source stops but the reflections continue, their amplitude decreasing, until zero is reached. A valve is a device or natural object that regulates, directs or controls the flow of a fluid (gases, liquids, fluidized solids, or slurries) by opening, closing, or partially obstructing various passageways. Renato da Silva Rocha (27 May 1961 – 22 February 2015), affectionately known as Billy or Negrete by his close friends, was a Brazilian musician and songwriter famous for being the bassist of influential Rock music, rock band Legião Urbana from 1984 until 1989.
