The Legislative Assembly of Penza Oblast (russian: Законодательное собрание Пензенской области, Zakonodatel'noe sobranie Penzenskoy oblasti) is the regional parliament of Penza Oblast, a federal subject of Russia. The Legislative Assembly exercises its authority by passing laws, resolutions, and other legal acts and by supervising the implementation and observance of the laws and other legal acts passed by it. The assembly consists of 36 deputies, each of whom is elected for a term of 5 years. 18 members are elected from single-member constituencies and 18 deputies - on party lists. New People (russian: Новые люди, Novyye lyudi) is a political party in Russia formed in Moscow on 1 March 2020. New People is considered a liberal party, and observers have called it centrist or centre-right. It was established in March 2020 by Alexey Nechayev, the founder of the Russian cosmetics company Faberlic. Nechayev was elected as party chairman during the second party congress, held on August 8, 2020. Alexander Davankov is the head of the party executive committee. In 2020, the party entered four regional parliaments on party lists, earning the right to participate in the 2021 elections to the State Duma without collecting voters' signatures. A Just Russia — For Truth (SRZP; russian: Справедливая Россия — За правду; СРЗП, Spravedlivaya Rossiya — Za pravdu; SRZP), formerly A Just Russia (SR), is a social conservative and social-democratic political party in Russia. Regional Parliaments Of Russia
The regional parliaments of Russia are the legislative bodies of power in the federal subjects of Russia (republics, Territories of Russia, regions, autonomous districts and federal cities), which have different names, often collectively referred to in the media as regional parliaments.
