Lega Vallée D'Aoste
Lega Vallée d'Aoste ( en, Aosta Valley League), whose complete name is ( en, Aosta Valley League for Salvini Premier), is a regionalism (politics), regionalist List of political parties in Italy, political party active in Aosta Valley. The party was a "national" section of Lega Nord (LN) from 1991 to 2000 and has been the regional section of Lega (political party), Lega per Salvini Premier (LSP) in Aosta Valley since 2020. The party was established in 1991 by a group of former associates of Roberto Gremmo in the Autonomist Union. Valdostan Union
The Valdostan Union (french: Union valdôtaine, UV), also Valdostian Union or Valdotanian Union is a regionalist and centrist political party in Aosta Valley, Italy. It represents mainly the Arpitan-speaking minority in the region. Former leader Erik Lavévaz has been the President of Aosta Valley since October 2020. The UV has been steadily represented in the Italian Parliament since 1976 and, due to the disappearance of the Christian Democracy party in the early 1990s, it has become the catch-all party of the region, similarly to the South Tyrolean People's Party in South Tyrol. The party steadily increased its share of vote from the 11.6% of 1973 to the 47.2% of 2003, then it started a decline and was riven by splits. Progressive Valdostan Union (2013)
The Progressive Valdostan Union (french: Union Valdôtaine Progressiste, UVP) was a centre-left political party active in the Aosta Valley, Italy. Leading members were Laurent Viérin, Luigi Bertschy and Giuliano Morelli. History The party emerged in January 2013 as a split from the Valdostan Union (UV), similarly to what had happened forty years before with the historical UVP. Over the years the UV had become more acquainted with the centre-right and this caused the exit of three regional councillors ( Luciano Caveri, Laurent Viérin and Andrea Rosset), who launched the UVP on 4 January 2013. Antonio Fosson
Antonio Fosson (born 11 October 1951) is an Italian politician. Antonio was elected president of Aosta Valley from 10 December 2018 to 16 December 2019. Antonio is a member of the Pour Notre Vallée Party. Biography Antonio was born in Ivrea, Italy. But he was elected senator in 2008 from ayes. He is a member of the 12th Standing Committee on Hygiene and Health, as well as of the Parliamentary Committee on Regional Questions. Mouv' (political Party)
Mouv', whose complete name is United Aosta Valley – Mouv' (french: Vallée d'Aoste Unie–Mouv'), is a progressive political party active in Aosta Valley, Italy. The party was launched in March 2017 as a split from the Progressive Valdostan Union (UVP). History In June 2016 the UVP joined the regional government led by UV's Augusto Rollandin, fueling rumors of a re-unification with the UV. Autonomy Liberty Participation Ecology (french: Autonomie, Liberté, Participation, Écologie, ALPE) was a regionalist political party active in Aosta Valley, Italy, whose progressive ideology mixes elements of social democracy and green politics. For Our Valley (''Pour Notre Vallée'', PNV) is a centrist political party active in Aosta Valley, Italy. In November 2016 two regional councillors, former senator Antonio Fosson and Claudio Restano, left the Valdostan Union (UV) in disagreement with Augusto Rollandin, President of Aosta Valley, and launched the party. PNV was immediately admitted into the coalition supporting the regional government composed also of the Progressive Valdostan Union (UVP), Edelweiss (SA) and the Democratic Party (PD).
