Left And Democratic Front
The Left and Democratic Front (or Left and Secular Democratic Front) was a pre-poll alliance of political parties in the Indian state of Manipur, which was formed ahead of the 2017 Manipur Legislative Assembly election. About the alliance The political parties in the Front had a 35-point common minimum programme. Their manifesto was constituted on the Left Front models of Tripura and Kerala. Moirangthem Nara, who was the general secretary of CPI Manipur, was the Convenor of the alliance. LDF projected itself as an alternative to both the Congress and the BJP. CPI and MNDF are the dominant parties in the alliance as both have MLAs and ministers in previous Governments. Arvind Kejriwal was invited as their star campaigner in the election. The Manipur Progressive Secular Alliance (MPSA) (formarly known as Secular Progressive Front (SPF) or Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA)) is a political alliance in India. The alliance includes six parties on a basis of an 18-point Common Agenda. The Aam Aadmi Party (; AAP) is a political party in India, as one of the national political parties. The AAP was founded in November 2012 by Arvind Kejriwal and his then-companions following the 2011 Indian anti-corruption movement, popularly known as Anna Andolan. The Nationalist Congress Party ( NCP) is one of the nine national parties in India. The party generally supports Indian nationalism and Gandhian secularism. It is the largest opposition party in Maharashtra and is also a significant party in other states. Party formation and performance The NCP was formed on 10 June 1999, by Sharad Pawar, P. A.
