Lee–Hines Field is a baseball stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is the home field of the Southern Jaguars baseball team. Tournaments Lee–Hines Field served as host of the 2008 Southwestern Athletic Conference baseball tournament from May 13 through 17. The stadium hosted the 2012 Southwestern Athletic Conference baseball tournament from May 16 through 20, 2012, which was won by Prairie View A&M. Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament
The Southwestern Athletic Conference baseball tournament decides the conference baseball championship of the NCAA Division I Southwestern Athletic Conference. The top four finishers in each conference division participate in a two-bracket, double-elimination tournament, most recently played in Birmingham, Alabama, between May 25 and May 29, 2022. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament and, since 2019, to the HBCU World Series. The 2012 Southwestern Athletic Conference baseball tournament took place at Lee–Hines Field, on the campus of Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA from May 16 through 20, 2012. The won their third tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. The double elimination tournament featured the top four teams from each division, leaving one team from each division out of the field. The Prairie View A&M Panthers baseball represents Prairie View A&M University, which is located in Prairie View, Texas.
