Wilhelm Ritter Von Leeb
Wilhelm Josef Franz Ritter von Leeb (5 September 1876 – 29 April 1956) was a German field marshal and war criminal in World War II. Leeb was a highly decorated officer in World War I and was awarded the Military Order of Max Joseph which granted him the title of nobility. During the Battle of France, he commanded Army Group C, responsible for the breakthrough of the Maginot Line. During Operation Barbarossa—the invasion of the Soviet Union—Leeb commanded Army Group North, which advanced through the Baltic States towards Leningrad (present day St. Petersburg), eventually laying siege to the city. Units under Leeb’s command committed war crimes against the civilian population and closely cooperated with the SS ''Einsatzgruppen'', death squads primarily tasked with the murder of the Jewish population as part of the Holocaust. Stephen Leeb (born July 14, 1946 in Chicago) is a money manager and investment adviser. For more than 45 years he has been guiding investors via newsletters, books, blogs, and appearances on financial news networks including CNN, Fox News, NPR and Bloomberg TV. Wilhelm Anton "Bill" Leeb (born 21 September 1966, in Vienna, Austria) is an Austrian-Canadian electronic musician and record producer. He is best known for being a founding member of the industrial music group Front Line Assembly. Additionally, Leeb is known for his work with groups such as Noise Unit, Delerium, Intermix, and Skinny Puppy, among others. Career Leeb began his musical career with industrial band Skinny Puppy in 1985 under the pseudonym Wilhelm Schroeder, contributing bass synth and occasional backing vocals to a few of their recordings and concerts. He left in 1986 and formed his own industrial project Front Line Assembly with Michael Balch, and later Rhys Fulber and Chris Peterson. Thomas Leeb (born 14 September 1977 in Klagenfurt, Austria) is an Austrian fingerstyle guitarist. Biography Thomas Leeb grew up in the small Austrian mountain village Turracher Höhe, Carinthia, as the youngest of four children of a hotel-owner's family. Over a period of thirteen years he taught himself the electric guitar, then switched to acoustic guitar. He was fifteen when he decided to become a musician and had his first concerts, even though his parents made him finish high school. He produced his first CD ''Reveller'' (now out of print) when he was seventeen. After high school he toured Ireland for four months as street musician. In 1997 he recorded his second CD ''Hope'' (out of print) and finished third in the 1998 Open Strings Festival in Osnabrück, Germany. Emil Leeb
Emil Leeb (17 June 1881 – 8 September 1969) was a German general during World War II. A professional soldier, he saw active service during both World Wars. Leeb's older brother was Field Marshal Wilhelm Ritter von Leeb. First World War Leeb entered Army service on 7 July 1901. He attended the War School in Munich, the Bavarian Artillery & Engineer School, and then the Bavarian War Academy. Before and during World War I, Leeb served as an adjutant in artillery units and then was appointed a General Staff officer. Leeb was promoted to captain on 1 June 1915. In June 1917, he was transferred to the General staff in the XVth Royal Bavarian Reserve Corps and an infantry division. Leeb participated in battles around Lorraine, Northern France, Galicia, the Carpathian Mountains, Flanders and the German withdrawal from Northern France. Brad Leeb
Bradley Leeb (born August 27, 1979) is a retired Cree First Nations Canadian ice hockey player. He played 5 games in the NHL for the Vancouver Canucks and Toronto Maple Leafs, and spent the bulk of his professional career in the minor American Hockey League, as well as several years playing in Germany and the United Kingdom, before retiring in 2013. Career Leeb started his career playing for the Red Deer Midget Chiefs in the Alberta Midget Hockey League. Carlos Leeb
Carlos Fabián Leeb (born 18 July 1968, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine former football striker and a current manager. He is the son of Luis Félix Leeb, a professional footballer who played over 300 games in Argentine football. Playing career Leeb started his career with Club Atlético Independiente in the First Division in 1987. In 1991, he had a short spell with Estudiantes de La Plata before signing for Chacarita Juniors in the 3rd division in 1992. In 1994 Chacarita were promoted to the Second Division. Greg Leeb
Gregory Leeb (born May 31, 1977) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. He played 2 games in the National Hockey League with the Dallas Stars during the 2000–01 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1998 to 2013, was mainly spent with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. He ended his career with one season with the Coventry Blaze in the Elite Ice Hockey League. Greg is the brother of Brad Leeb.
