Fu Jen Catholic University
Fu Jen Catholic University (FJU, FJCU or Fu Jen; or ) is a private Catholic university in Xinzhuang, New Taipei City, Taiwan. The university was founded in 1925 in Beijing at the request of Pope Pius XI and re-established in Taiwan in 1961 at the request of Pope John XXIII, its name means "assistance" and "benevolence". Fu Jen has since grown to comprise twelve colleges and schools, among which are several Taiwan's first or only academic units, such as Italian language, info-management, museology, religious studies, philosophy as well as hosts the earliest A&HCI journal in the whole country. The culture of Taiwan is a blend of Confucian Chinese and indigenous Taiwanese cultures. Taiwanese People
Taiwanese people may be generally considered the people of Taiwan who share a common culture, ancestry and speak Taiwanese Mandarin, Hokkien, Hakka or indigenous Taiwanese languages as a mother tongue. Taiwanese people may also refer to the indigenous peoples of the areas under the control of the Government of the Republic of China since 1945, including Penghu as well as Kinmen and Matsu Islands that collectively form its streamlined Fujian Province (see Taiwan Area). National Chengchi University () is a public research university in Taipei. The university is also considered as the earliest public service training facility of the Republic of China. First established in Nanjing in 1927, the university was subsequently relocated to Taipei in 1954. It is considered to be one of the most prestigious and prominent universities in Taiwan. The university, abbreviated as NCCU, specializes in arts and humanities, mass media, linguistics and literature, social sciences, economics, management, politics, and international affairs programs. The Ministry of Culture (MOC, ) is the ministry of the Republic of China (Taiwan) that promotes cultural and creative industries. The ministry also maintains thNational Repository of Cultural Heritage History Established in 1981 by Executive Yuan, the ministry was initially called the Council for Cultural Affairs (CCA). The council was upgraded to ministerial level in May 2012 under the name Ministry of Culture. Peng Chun-heng
Kevin Peng Chun-heng () is a Taiwanese politician. Education Peng earned bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in public administration at National Chengchi University. Career Peng taught at Tamkang University. He was the director of resource development at the (NCAF) from 2003 to 2015. Hsiao Tsung-huang
Hsiao Tsung-huang () is a Taiwanese museum curator and politician. Career Huang was educated at Chinese Culture University and the Taipei National University of the Arts, where he earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts and a master's degree in arts administration, respectively. He was director of the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts between 2001 and 2004, when he assumed the same role at the National Taiwan Museum. Hsiao began working for the Ministry of Culture in May 2012, and rose to chief secretary-general.
