Lee Hyun-seung (director)
Lee Hyun-seung (born August 18, 1961) is a South Korean film director, screenwriter and producer. He directed ''The Blue in You'' (1992), ''Sunset Into the Neon Lights'' (1995), ''Il Mare'' (2000) and ''Hindsight'' (2011). Career Lee Hyun-seung studied Visual Communication Design in the Department of Fine Arts at Hongik University, then filmmaking at Korean Academy of Film Arts. In 1986, he began working as an assistant director for Park Chul-soo and Park Kwang-su. Lee made his feature directorial debut with ''The Blue in You'' (1992), which drew praise for its lush, sensual images and strong use of color. Starring Kang Soo-yeon and Ahn Sung-ki as a businesswoman and photographer who fall in love despite their equally uncompromising personalities, it is considered among the first Korean feminist films of its era. Autobiographical
An autobiography, sometimes informally called an autobio, is a self-written account of one's own life. It is a form of biography. Definition The word "autobiography" was first used deprecatingly by William Taylor in 1797 in the English periodical ''The Monthly Review'', when he suggested the word as a hybrid, but condemned it as "pedantic". However, its next recorded use was in its present sense, by Robert Southey in 1809. ''If You Were Me'' is a 2003 South Korean omnibus film, comprising six short films directed by six prominent Korean directors, including Park Chan-wook. National Human Rights Commission Of Korea
The National Human Rights Commission of Korea (abbreviated to NHRCK) () is the independent commission for protecting, advocating and promoting human rights. This commission, by law, is guaranteed the independent status regarding all human rights issues in South Korea. According to judgment of Constitutional Court of Korea in year 2010, NHRCK is an independent agency inside executive branch of South Korean government. A short film is any motion picture that is short enough in running time not to be considered a feature film. A remake is a film, television series, video game, song or similar form of entertainment that is based upon and retells the story of an earlier production in the same medium—e.g., a "new version of an existing film".
