Lee R. Filer (born January 14, 1980, in Cheyenne, Wyoming) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Wyoming House of Representatives representing District 12 since January 8, 2013. Harlan Edmonds
Harlan Edmonds is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives representing District 12 from January 5, 2015, until his resignation on August 15, 2016. His wife, Amy Edmonds, was a member of the Wyoming House of Representatives for the 12th district from 2007 until 2013. Elections 2014 Edmonds was offered the Republican nomination after mounting a successful write-in campaign. He then defeated incumbent Democratic Representative Lee Filer 53% to 47%. 2016 Edmonds did not run for re-election. He resigned on August 15, 2016, after having moved out of the district. Cheyenne ( or ) is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Wyoming, as well as the county seat of Laramie County, with 65,132 residents, per the 2020 US Census. It is the principal city of the Cheyenne metropolitan statistical area which encompasses all of Laramie County and had 100,512 residents as of the 2020 census. Wyoming House Of Representatives
The Wyoming House of Representatives is the lower house of the Wyoming State Legislature. There are 60 Representatives in the House, representing an equal number of single-member constituent districts across the state, each with a population of at least 9,000. The House convenes at the Wyoming State Capitol in Cheyenne. Members of the House serve two year terms without term limits. Term limits were declared unconstitutional by the Wyoming Supreme Court in 2004, overturning a decade-old law that had restricted Representatives to six terms (twelve years).
