Lee Davidson
__NOTOC__ Lee A. Davidson (born June 30, 1968) is a Canadian-American former professional hockey player and college coach. Career Amateur Davidson played center for the 1985–86 Penticton Knights of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League. The Knights won the 1986 Centennial Cup (now Royal Bank Cup), becoming British Columbia's first Canadian Junior A national champion. Davidson scored 34 goals and had 74 assists for 108 points in 48 regular season games, second highest on the team. In 2011, members of the 1985–86 Penticton Knights were inducted into the British Columbia Hockey Hall of Fame. Davidson was drafted in the eighth round, 166 overall, by the Washington Capitals in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. He played collegiately at the University of North Dakota (UND). The North Dakota Fighting Hawks men's ice hockey team (UND) is the college ice hockey team at the Grand Forks campus of the University of North Dakota. They are members of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) and compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I ice hockey. North Dakota is widely regarded as a premier college hockey school and has one of the most storied programs in NCAA history. Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs Men's Ice Hockey
The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs men's ice hockey team is an NCAA Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of Minnesota Duluth. The Bulldogs are a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC). The team plays home games at the 6,800-seat AMSOIL Arena at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. The Bulldogs program has produced many NHL players such as Glenn 'Chico' Resch, Jim Johnson who is currently the assistant coach for the San Jose Sharks, Tom Kurvers, Dave Langevin, and Bob Mason. Scott Sandelin
Scott Alan Sandelin (born August 8, 1964) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He is currently the head coach of the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs men's ice hockey team. In 2011, he became the first coach in Bulldog history to lead them to a national title, in a 3–2 overtime game against the University of Michigan at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In the 2018 NCAAs, he led the Bulldogs to a second national title, over Notre Dame 2–1, also played at the Xcel Energy Center. Dean Blais
Dean Charles Blais (born January 18, 1951) is an American ice hockey coach. He was the head coach of the Omaha Mavericks, the men's team of the University of Nebraska Omaha, and also head coach of the United States men's national junior ice hockey team. He led Team USA to a gold medal in the IIHF 2010 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in Saskatoon, Canada, held in late December 2009 through early January 2010. He is the former associate coach of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets. Turner Cup
The Turner Cup was the championship trophy of the International Hockey League from 1945 to 2001 and the renamed United Hockey League from 2007 to 2010. The Cup was named for Joe Turner, a goaltender from Windsor, Ontario. Turner became professional with the Detroit Red Wings organization, and played one season with the Indianapolis Capitals in the American Hockey League. Turner was killed in Belgium during World War II, while serving with the United States Army. San Diego Gulls (1990–1995)
The San Diego Gulls were a professional ice hockey team. The team, the second to use the ''Gulls'' nickname, was founded in 1990 as part of the International Hockey League. The Gulls played at the San Diego Sports Arena. The team played five seasons, then relocated to Los Angeles, California in 1995 to become the Los Angeles Ice Dogs. After one season in L.A., the team moved to Long Beach to become the Long Beach Ice Dogs and later would leave the IHL and join the WCHL (West Coast Hockey League). John Clark LeClair (born July 5, 1969) is an American former professional ice hockey player who played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers, and Pittsburgh Penguins. Jeremy Shaffer Roenick ( ; born January 17, 1970) is an American former professional ice hockey player who played the majority of his career in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 8th overall in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks, for whom he played from 1988 to 1996. Roenick subsequently played for the Phoenix Coyotes, Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks over the course of his 20 NHL season career.
