Lee Collins (footballer, Born 1974)
Lee Collins (born 3 February 1974 in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire) is a Scottish former professional footballer. Collins began his professional career in his native land with Albion Rovers. After two years, 45 league appearances, and one goal for the club, he moved south of the border to join English club Swindon Town. He remained at the County Ground for five years, making 64 appearances and scoring two goals. He won the Division Two championship with them in 1995–96. In 2000, Steve McMahon, Collins' former manager at Swindon, signed him for Blackpool. Collins remained at Bloomfield Road for three years, making 66 appearances and scoring two goals. He won promotion via the Division Three play-offs in his first season with the club. In 2002 he started the final as Blackpool won the 2001–02 Football League Trophy. Lee Collins (footballer, Born 1977)
Lee David Collins (born 10 September 1977) is an English former footballer who played for Stoke City. Career Collins was born in Birmingham started his football career back in 1995 with Aston Villa as a trainee. He moved to Stoke City in the summer of 1998. At Stoke, Collins made four appearances in 1998–99 but struggled to become a regular and spent the 1999–2000 season on loan at Cambridge United. He failed to make an appearance for Cambridge and after one FA Cup match in 2000–01 he was released by the club. He has spent the bulk of his career at Moor Green and stayed with them when the merged to form Solihull Moors where he was club captain. Collins moved to Hinckley United in July 2009. Lee Harvey Collins (28 September 1988 – 31 March 2021) was an English professional footballer who played as a defender. He was more comfortable as a centre-back, but could also play as a full-back. He scored eight goals in 470 league and cup appearances over the course of a 14-year professional career in the English Football League and National League. He graduated through the Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy to turn professional in February 2007. He spent much of the 2007–08 season on loan at Hereford United, helping the club to win promotion into League One. He joined Port Vale on loan at the start of the 2008–09 season, and his loan stay was made permanent in January 2009. He played 53 games for the club in 2009–10, and continued to be a key member of the defence in 2010–11. Leeds "Lee" Collins (October 17, 1901 – July 3, 1960) was an American jazz trumpeter. Early life Collins was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a teenager, he played in brass bands, including the Young Eagles, the Columbia Band, and the Tuxedo Brass Band. Career In the 1910s, Collins played in New Orleans alongside Louis Armstrong, Papa Celestin, and Zutty Singleton. Hemoved to Chicago, Illinois, in 1924, where he replaced Louis Armstrong in King Oliver's band. He also played with Jelly Roll Morton, but the two had disagreements and fell out when Collins claimed that Morton stole the song "Fish Tail Blues" from him. Collins returned to New Orleans, where he played on the recordings of the Jones & Collins Astoria Hot Eight in 1929. He then played in New York City with Luis Russell in 1930.
