Lee Brown (footballer)
Lee James Brown (born 10 August 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left-back for League Two club AFC Wimbledon. Brown formerly played for Queens Park Rangers, Salisbury City, Hayes & Yeading United and Bristol Rovers, spending seven seasons with the latter club and amassing 321 appearances before joining Portsmouth and then AFC Wimbledon. He has played for the England C national team. Career Queens Park Rangers Brown worked his way through the youth team of Queens Park Rangers, earning a professional contract in July 2008 having been part of the Football League Youth Alliance winning side the previous season. He spent the first half of the 2009–10 season on loan at administration-stricken Salisbury City of the Conference National, along with teammate Joe Oastler. Lee Bradley Brown
Lee Bradley Brown (18 June 1971 – 12 April 2011) was a British tourist who died in police custody in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He was arrested by the Dubai Police Force following an altercation with a Nepalese maid at the Burj Al Arab hotel where he was staying. After being placed in solitary confinement, he was found dead in his cell six days after he was arrested. The circumstances surrounding his death remain disputed. In November 2022, a second UK inquest into Brown's death was opened after the Brown family won a challenge at the UK High Court to overturn the original open verdict. Lee Ann Brown
Lee Ann Brown (born 1963) is an American poet and book publisher. She has published several volumes of poetry in addition to being the founder of Tender Buttons Press, a poetry press dedicated to publishing experimental women's poetry. Early life and education Brown was born in Saitama Prefecture, Japan in 1963 and grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended Brown University for both her undergraduate and master's degrees. Career Brown founded Tender Buttons Press in 1989. The press's first publication was Bernadette Mayer’s book ''The Sonnets''. The press has since released over a dozen books. At the 2019 Firecracker Awards for independent publishers, the Council of Literary Magazines and Presses, Community of Literary Magazines and Presses gave Brown the Lord Nose Award, which recognizes a "lifetime of publishing." Leigh Brown (born 23 February 1982) is a former Australian rules football player who played for Fremantle, North Melbourne and finally Collingwood in the Australian Football League. He is a Collingwood premiership player. After the 2011 Grand Final Brown retired and was announced as Melbourne's forward coach. He is renowned for his tackling ability as well as his Utility roles. Early life Brown is originally from Heyfield and played under 18 football with the Gippsland Power in the TAC Cup where he attracted the attention of talent scouts.
