Lee Baldwin (born April 26, 1988) is a Canadians, Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He most notably played for the Connecticut Whale (AHL), Connecticut Whale in the American Hockey League (AHL). Playing career Undrafted, on March 22, 2010, Baldwin was signed as a free agent by the New York Rangers to a two-year entry-level contract. He was assigned to the Rangers affiliates, the Connecticut Whale (AHL), Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League and the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL for the duration of his contract. On August 9, 2012, Baldwin was signed to a one-year ECHL contract to remain with the Greenville Road Warriors. In the 2013-14 ECHL season, 2013–14 season, on December 13, 2013, Baldwin was traded by the Road Warriors to the Stockton Thunder in exchange for Brayden Irwin. Connecticut Whale (AHL)
The Hartford Wolf Pack are a professional ice hockey team based in Hartford, Connecticut. A member of the American Hockey League (AHL), they play their home games at the XL Center. The team was established in 1926 as the Providence Reds. After a series of relocations, the team moved to Hartford in 1997 as the Hartford Wolf Pack. It is one of the oldest professional hockey franchises in existence, and the oldest continuously operating minor league hockey franchise in North America. The franchise was renamed the Connecticut Whale in October 2010, in honor of the former Hartford Whalers of the National Hockey League (NHL), but reverted to their current name after the 2012–13 AHL season.
