Gerard Lecuyer
Gerard Lecuyer (born August 2, 1936 in Saint Boniface, Manitoba) is a politician in Manitoba, Canada. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1981 to 1988, and a cabinet minister in the New Democratic Party government of Howard Pawley from 1983 to 1988. The son of Albert Lécuyer and Suzanne Delaloye, he grew up in Ste. Agathe and was educated at St. Boniface College and the University of Manitoba, working as an educator-administrator before entering public life. He directed special projects in the Bureau de l'Éducation français for the Department of Education, and was a teacher in the St. Boniface school division. He also spent five years in Africa as a teacher with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), and was a member of the Franco-Manitoban Society. Douglas J. Lecuyer (born March 10, 1958) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey forward who played 126 games in the National Hockey League for the Chicago Black Hawks, Winnipeg Jets, and Pittsburgh Penguins. Lecuyer was born in Wainwright, Alberta. He played junior in the Western Hockey League from 1973 until 1978. He became a professional the following season with the Chicago Blackhawks organization. Charlotte L'Écuyer (16 August 1943 – 1 February 2021) was a politician in Quebec, Canada. She was a Member of the National Assembly of Quebec (MNA) for the riding of Pontiac in Western Quebec, and a member of the Quebec Liberal Party caucus, from 2003 to 2014. Biography L'Écuyer went to the Université du Québec à Hull (now Université du Québec en Outaouais) and obtained a bachelor's degree in social work. She would later add a master's degree in social work at the Université de Sherbrooke. L'Écuyer was a social worker and the former general manager of the Pontiac's CLSC clinic. Claude L'Écuyer (born January 26, 1947, in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec) is a politician from Quebec, Canada. He was an Action démocratique du Québec Member of the National Assembly for the electoral district of Saint-Hyacinthe from 2007 to 2008. L'Ecuyer holds a degree in law from the Université de Montréal and is a member of the Barreau du Québec and the Canadian Bar since 1973. Gerald L’Ecuyer (born 1959) is a Canadian film and television director. L’Ecuyer was born in Montreal. He studied at Marianopolis College in Montreal, before going to New York City, where he studied at the New School and worked for Andy Warhol’s ''Interview''. He returned to Montreal and studied cinema at Concordia University. He had a small role in David Lynch's television series ''Twin Peaks''.
