Lebedyn, Cherkasy Oblast
Lebedyn ( uk, Лебедин) is a village in Zvenyhorodka Raion of Cherkasy Oblast (province) of central Ukraine. It belongs to Shpola urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: 4323. Sometimes in the 15th century the village was completely wiped out by Tatar hordes. Shpola Raion ( uk, Шполянський район) was a raion (district) of Cherkasy Oblast, central Ukraine. Its administrative centre was located at the town of Shpola. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Cherkasy Oblast to four. Trakhtemyriv
Trakhtemyriv ( uk, Трахтемирів, pl, Trechtymirów) is a very small village in Cherkasy Raion, Cherkasy Oblast. It belongs to Bobrytsia rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. In the past it was a city and quartered the Registered Cossacks of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth since 1578. Part of the former city is submerged by the Kaniv Reservoir. The city also included a legendary settlement of Zarub that is mentioned in the Hypatian Chronicles of 1096 and 1168. As of 2007 the village housed total of only 9 people. From around 2013 the village has no permanent population, and is inhabited mainly during the summer period. The village has no public electricity, water supply or canalisation. Lebedyn ( uk, Лебеди́н, ) is a city in Sumy Oblast, Ukraine. Lebedyn is located in Sumy Raion. Before July 2020, Lebedyn served as the administrative center of Lebedyn Raion; it was administratively incorporated as a city of oblast significance and did not belong to the raion.
