Selim Tadmoury was selected as the Permanent Representative of Lebanon to the United Nations on July 30, 1999. Early life, family, and education Selim Tadmoury was born in Tripoli, Lebanon in 1938. He has a wife and one child. He graduated in private law and public law from the University of Rabat in Morocco after obtaining a Master of Arts in history. Rafic Bahaa El Deen Al Hariri ( ar, رفيق بهاء الدين الحريري; 1 November 1944 – 14 February 2005) was a Lebanese business tycoon and politician who served as the Prime Minister of Lebanon from 1992 to 1998 and again from 2000 until his resignation on . Ibl Al-Saqi
Ibl al-Saqi (إبل السقي) is a town in the Marjeyoun District in southern Lebanon. History In 1875, Victor Guérin found it to be a "considerable" village, with about 1000 inhabitants. 700 were " Schismatic Greek" and the rest were apparently Druze. At the north-west of the village there was an abundant stream. Following the establishment of UNIFIL Ibl al-Saqi was in the eastern most sector in which the UN had soldiers with the Norwegian Army establishing their base near the village. In 1999 they were replaced by an Indian battalion from the 4th Gurkha Rifles. Rashid Abdul Hamid Karami (30 December 1921 – 1 June 1987) ( ar, رشيد كرامي) was a Lebanese statesman.
