Leandro Desábato
Leandro Desábato (born 24 January 1979), nicknamed ''Chavo'', is an Argentine football manager and former player. He is the manager of Almagro. Club career Desábato began his professional career in 1997 playing for Estudiantes de La Plata. In 2001, he joined Olimpo and after one season with the club he moved on to play for Quilmes. With both teams he won promotion from the Primera B Nacional (Argentine second division) to the Primera División (first). In a 2005 Copa Libertadores match, Desábato allegedly racially insulted São Paulo's player Grafite. Desábato was arrested after the match. Following his night in jail, Desábato was defended by columnist and former Brazilian international footballer Tostão who stated that the insults were not racist, simply the kind of provocation that has always existed in football. Eduardo Gonçalves de Andrade (born 25 January 1947), generally known as Tostão, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a forward or attacking midfielder. Tostão was an intelligent, hardworking and prolific left-footed forward, who was known for his creativity and technical skills, and was considered one of the best players in the world in his prime. He played most of his 11-year career with Cruzeiro. Tostão represented Brazil in two World Cups, winning the tournament in 1970. 2010–11 Argentine Primera División Season
The 2010–11 Primera División season was the 120th season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. A total of 20 teams competed in two championships —the Apertura and Clausura— over the course of the season, which started on August 6, 2010 and ended on June 30, 2011, one day prior to the start of the 2011 Copa América, held in Argentina. Club information Twenty clubs participated in the 2010–11 season. Chacarita Juniors and Atlético Tucumán were relegated at the end of the 2009–10 season. They were replaced by Olimpo and Quilmes, both of whom were promoted from the Primera B Nacional. Rosario Central and Gimnasia y Esgrima (LP) played in the relegation/promotion playoffs against All Boys and Atlético de Rafaela, respectively, to determine the other two teams for this season. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football. The tournament is named after the ''Libertadores'' (Spanish and Portuguese for ''liberators''), the leaders of the Latin American wars of independence, so a literal translation of its former name into English is "''America's Liberators Cup''". Andrés Alberto Desábato (born 30 March 1990) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for All Boys. Career Desábato began his career with Vélez Sarsfield. Desábato completed a loan move to Guaraní Antonio Franco of Torneo Argentino A in August 2012. Despite remaining for the 2012–13 campaign, he appeared in just one fixture - versus Sportivo Belgrano on 20 October 2012. In June 2014, Desábato left Vélez Sarsfield permanently to sign for Primera B Metropolitana side Platense. His debut came on 11 October 2014 against Sportivo Italiano, which was the first of thirty-one games in his opening five seasons. Rolando Carlos Schiavi (; born 18 January 1973) is a retired Argentine football defender, most recognized for his time spent playing for Boca Juniors. Club career Schiavi started his career in the lower leagues with Argentino de Rosario, before moving to Argentinos Juniors in 1995. Schiavi played for Argentinos for six years, before joining Boca Juniors. He played 186 games for Boca between 2001 and 2005, scoring 22 goals, including 122 league games with 12 goals.
