Leah Applebaum
Leah Applebaum is an American voice actress and Broadway actress. She is best known as the voice of Nanami Kiryu from Revolutionary Girl Utena and Erika, the Grass type Gym Leader from the internationally acclaimed Pokémon series. Career Applebaum first got into voice acting while working for a Broadway sketch comedy called My Thoughts Here in New York when she got a call from a casting director who was casting for the Hugo Award winning Think Like a Dinosaur, a Sci-Fi Channel program. Applebaum got the lead role of Kamala Shastri, which led her to be cast as a reporter in The Signal Man, which was adapted from the original story by Charles Dickens. The attention Applebaum received from her work on the Sci-Fi Channel eventually got her the major role of Nanami Kiryu from Revolutionary Girl Utena and Erika from the highly popular Pokémon series. ''Tales from the Crypt'', sometimes titled ''HBO's Tales from the Crypt'', is an American horror anthology television series that ran from June 10, 1989, to July 19, 1996, on the premium cable channel HBO for seven seasons with a total of 93 episodes.
