The Leader of the Opposition (Urdu language, Urdu: قائد حزب اختلاف), is the people's elected politician who is, by law, the leader of the Official Opposition in Pakistan. The Leader of the Opposition is the leader of the largest political party in the National Assembly of Pakistan, National Assembly that is not in Government of Pakistan, government. This is usually the leader of the second-largest political party in the National Assembly. The leader of the opposition is normally viewed as an alternative Prime Minister. Raja Riaz Ahmad (born 26 July 1955) is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018. Previously, he was the Punjab Minister for Irrigation and Power and was also the member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab between 1993 and 2013. Awami National Party
The Awami National Party (ANP; ur, , ps, اولسي ملي ګوند; lit. ''People's National Party'') is a Pashtun nationalist, secular and leftist political party in Pakistan. Sherbaz Khan Mazari () (6 October 1930 – 5 December 2020) was a Pakistani politician and a leader of the opposition in the National Assembly. Career Mazari was born in Rojhan Mazari on October 5, 1930. His father, Mir Murad Bakhsh Khan, was the chief of the Mazari tribe in Dera Ghazi Khan.
