Lea Ved
Lea Elizabeth Ved (born April 9, 1991) is an American contemporary dancer and choreographer. She was a second soloist contemporary dancer at the Royal Swedish Ballet, dancing with the company from 2016 until 2018. Ved currently dances with Nederlands Dans Theater. Early life, training, and education Ved was born on April 9, 1991 in Anaheim, California to Jiten and Elizabeth Ved. She began dancing when she was three years old, studying at the San Francisco Ballet's school. She later moved with her family to Raleigh, North Carolina and trained in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance at Carolina Dance Center from eighth grade through high school. Ved, who is of Indian and Filipino descent, grew up also performing Indian classical dance and traditional Filipino dance. In 2006 she attended the summer training program at Boston Ballet. Wim Vandekeybus
Wim Vandekeybus (Herenthout, 30 June 1963) is a Belgian choreographer, director and photographer. His company Ultima Vez is located in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek (Brussels). Together with Jan Fabre, Alain Platel and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Wim Vandekeybus has been responsible for the Flemish Wave in contemporary dance in the 80's. He made over thirty international dance and theater productions and almost as many movies and video works. L-E-V Company is an Israeli dance and spectacle ensemble created by dancer Sharon Eyal and designer of multimedia events Gai Behar. History L-E-V (which means "heart" in Hebrew) mixes electronic music, techno, fashion and contemporary works into its productions. Mats Ek
Mats Ek (born 18 April 1945) is a Swedish dance and ballet choreographer, dancer and stage director. He was the manager of the Cullberg Ballet from 1985 to 1993. Life and career Ek was born in Malmö in 1945, the son of the Royal Dramatic Theatre actor Anders Ek and choreographer Birgit Cullberg. At 17, he followed a summer dance course (modern) taught by Donya Feuer. He pursued theatrical studies at the Marieborg Folks College in Sweden. Karl Wilhelm Alexander Ekman (born 1984) is a Swedish ballet dancer and choreographer.
