Auguste Levêque (1866 – 1921) was a Belgian painter influenced both by realism and symbolism. Levêque was also a sculptor, poet and art theoretician. Levêque was born in Nivelles, Walloon Brabant. He studied under Jean-François Portaels at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, and received the Prix Godecharle for his painting ''Job'' in 1890. Levêque was a member of the " Salon d'Art Idéaliste", formed by Jean Delville in Brussels in 1896, which is considered the Belgian equivalent to the Parisian Rose & Cross Salon. Other members of the group were Léon Frédéric, Albert Ciamberlani, Constant Montald, Emile Motte, Victor Rousseau, Armand Point and Alexandre Séon. The Salon was abandoned in 1898. Christophe Lévêque (born February 11, 1973) is a former-professional French "Mid/Current School" BMX racer. Racing career Christophe Lévêque began BMX (bicycle motocross) racing in 1987, at age 14, and achieved first place in his first novice race. As an amateur, he was sponsored by the European division of Moto Cross Specialties. He turned professional in December 1990 and achieved his first professional win in the United States the following year at the American Bicycle Association (ABA) Fallnationals. Two months later, his first race on the senior professional circuit was a last-place finish at the National Bicycle League (NBL) Christmas Classic nationals. Dorian Lévêque (born 22 November 1989) is a French footballer who most recently played as a defender for Ligue 2 club Le Mans. Career Lévêque began his career in 2002 with FC Annecy, where he spent 13 years before signing for US Boulogne in 2008. He made his professional debut in Ligue 1 on 7 March 2010 against Olympique Lyonnais. In June 2010 En Avant Guingamp signed him on a two-year-deal. Guy Scott Leveque (December 28, 1972 – September 27, 2005) was a Canadian professional ice hockey centre. He played 17 games in the National Hockey League with the Los Angeles Kings during the 1992–93 and 1993–94 seasons. Playing career Leveque played for the Cornwall Royals of the Ontario Hockey League from 1989 until 1992. He was drafted 42nd overall in the second round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. Leveque split 1992–93 and 1993–94 between the Kings and the IHL's Phoenix Roadrunners.
