LeRon McCoy
LeRon Terrell McCoy (born January 24, 1982) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL) in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football for IUP. He was also a member of the San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, and California Redwoods of the United Football League (UFL). He is the older brother of former NFL running back LeSean McCoy. Early years McCoy attended Harrisburg High School in his freshman year. He then attended Bishop McDevitt High School from his sophomore year to his senior year. He lettered three times in football. College career McCoy attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. McCoy saw limited time as a reserve in his true freshman season in 2001 before breaking out with 30 catches for 640 yards and eight touchdowns as a 13-game starter in 2002. The United Football League (UFL) was a professional American football minor league based in the United States that began play in October 2009 and played four seasons, the final one being cut short in October 2012. The 40-yard dash is a sprint covering . It is primarily run to evaluate the speed and acceleration of American football players by scouts, particularly for the NFL Draft but also for collegiate recruiting. A player's recorded time can have a heavy impact on his prospects in college or professional football.
