''Lazyboy TV'' is the 2004 album by pop music/spoken word project Lazyboy (known as Lazy B in the UK). The album contains trivia, philosophical advice, stand-up comedy and social commentary on American society spoken over contemporary hip hop-esque beats. The project was initiated by producers Soren Rasted (of the bands Aqua and Hej Matematik) and Johnny Douglas, who dubbed the style "Rhythm'n'Speak". Performers featured include American comedian Greg Giraldo, British voice-over artisJulie Berryand singer Toby Chapman. In many countries several songs from the album were re-dubbed in various languages. The Japanese release, for example, featured Japanese language versions of "Facts of Life", "Inhale Positivity", "This is the Truth", "We Only Read the Headlines" and "The Manual (Chapter 4)", with the original English versions of the first two featured as bonus tracks. Aqua (band)
Aqua is a Danish-Norwegian Europop and Dance-pop band, best known for their 1997 multi-platinum crossover and novelty single "Barbie Girl". The group formed in 1989 as Joyspeed, and achieved international success around the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The band released three albums: '' Aquarium'' in 1997, ''Aquarius'' in 2000 and '' Megalomania'' in 2011. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most profitable Danish band ever. The group managed to top the UK Singles Chart with three of their singles. The group also caused controversy with the double entendres in their "Barbie Girl" single, with the Barbie doll makers Mattel filing a lawsuit against the group. Desiderata
"Desiderata" (Latin: "things desired") is an early 1920s prose poem by the American writer Max Ehrmann. Although he copyrighted it in 1927, he distributed copies of it without a required copyright notice during 1933 and , thereby forfeiting his US copyright. The text was widely distributed in poster form in the 1960s and 1970s. History Max Ehrmann of Terre Haute, Indiana, wrote the work in the early 1920s, starting in 1921, but he did not use any title. He registered for his US copyright in 1927 via its first phrase. The April 5, 1933 issue of Michigan Tradesman magazine (No. 2585) published the full, original text on its cover, crediting Max Ehrmann as its author. Lene Nystrøm
Lene Grawford Nystrøm (born 2 October 1973) is a Norwegian musician and singer-songwriter who is the female lead vocalist of the Danish-Norwegian Eurodance group Aqua. Life and career 1973–1994: Early life Nystrøm was born in Tønsberg, Norway. When she was a teenager, she became interested in performing. She began modeling and also worked as a bartender. From 1990 to 1993, she appeared on the Norwegian game show ''Casino'' which aired on TVNorge. 1994–2001: Aqua and ''Aquarium'' In 1994, Nystrøm was working as a singer on the Norwegian cruise ship MS ''Peter Wessel'' and was spotted by musician René Dif. "Inhale Positivity" is the third single from the Lazyboy musical project (known as Lazy B in the UK), released as the follow-up to the hit " Underwear Goes Inside the Pants". It features spiritual and sensual self-help advice spoken by the iconic tones of the late Patrick Allen (a renowned voice over artist and actor), set to sunny club-friendly dance music and a vocoded chorus repeating the mantra "Inhale positivity, exhale negativity". However the song did not follow up on the success of the previous single and failed to chart. Gregory Carlos Giraldo (December 10, 1965 – September 29, 2010) was an American stand-up comedian, television personality, and lawyer.
