Lazaros Agadakos
Lazaros "Lazo" Agadakos ( el, Λάζαρος Αγαδάκος; born January 1, 1980) is a Greek professional basketball player. At a height of 2.08 m (6'10") tall, he played at the power forward and center positions. Professional career After playing in the Greek minors with Ilioupolis, in the 1997–98 season, Agadakos started his professional career playing with Palaio Faliro, in the Greek 2nd Division, in the 1998–99 season. He then spent 4 seasons with the Greek 1st Division club Panionios, and then spent a year with Maroussi. In 2004, he joined the Greek club Olympiacos, and he played there for two years in the EuroLeague. He then moved to PAOK for one year, and he later joined Aris. Maroussi
Marousi or Maroussi ( el, Μαρούσι, also Αμαρούσιο ''Amarousio'') is a suburb in the northeastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. Marousi dates back to the era of the ancient Athenian Republic; its ancient name was Athmonon (Ἄθμονον) and it represented one of the 10 Athenian sub-cities. The area held a main ancient temple, where Amarysia Artemis, the goddess of hunting, was adored, and the city's modern name derives from that of the goddess, ''Amarysia'', which denotes the origin of the worship back in Amarynthos, Euboea. 1995 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship
The 1995 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship (known at that time as 1995 European Championship for Cadets) was the 13th edition of the FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship. The cities of Setúbal, Seixal and Almada, in Portugal, hosted the tournament. Croatia won the trophy for the first time. Greek Basket League
The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA ( el, ΕΣΑΚΕ, link=no), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). It is the highest-tier level of the Greek league system. The GBL plays under FIBA rules and currently consists of 13 teams, with the lowest-placed team relegated to the A2 Basket League and replaced by the winner of the play-offs of that tier. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. When on offense, they typically play with their backs towards the basket.
