Layton Railway Station (England)
Layton railway station (formerly ''Bispham railway station'' ) is on the Blackpool North to Preston railway line, in Lancashire, England, serving the Blackpool suburbs of Layton and Bispham. It is managed by Northern and is unstaffed. History The railway line to , which was originally a branch off the line between and , was opened by the Preston and Wyre Railway (PWR) on 29 April 1846. The PWR was taken over jointly by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway (LYR) and the London and North Western Railway (LNWR) in 1849, its title being amended to Preston and Wyre Joint Railway (PWJR). When the station at Layton was opened by the PWJR in May 1867 it was named ''Bispham'', being renamed ''Layton (Lancs)'' on 4 July 1938. It is one of two railway stations in the north of Blackpool. Layton Station (FrontRunner)
Layton station is a FrontRunner commuter rail station in Layton, Utah. It is operated by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA). Description The station is located at 150 South Main Street ( SR-126) on approximately 12.5 acres of land and is easily accessed from I-15 by way of the new Layton Parkway interchange. The station is near the south end of Layton's historic downtown area, which had suffered from a hard-to-access location in a highly acute wedge bounded by I-15 on the northeast and the railroad tracks on the southwest. The railroad tracks have also presented enough of a barrier that the area west of the station and the tracks is still undeveloped despite its proximity to the historic downtown. Leyton Tube Station
Leyton is a London Underground station in Leyton, in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, East London. Located on Leyton High Road, adjacent to the A12, the station is on the Central line between two stations assigned to two fare zones – Stratford and Leytonstone. It is in zone 3. Location Leyton Mills Retail Park, Leyton Library, New Spitalfields Market, Leyton Orient F.C. stadium, and St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery are within proximity of the station. Around Leyton station, the line runs parallel to the A12 road, while the station entrance is connected by the A112. It serves the area of the name itself, situated to the north of the A12 in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Leyton is largely residential, with houses built from 1870 to 1910.
