Layle Delo
Layle Antonio Delo (born 28 October 1989) is a former South African rugby union player, who played first class rugby with the between 2010 and 2017. His regular position was prop or hooker. He retired at the end of the 2016 due to work commitments. Career Youth He represented the at the Under-18 Craven Week tournaments in both 2006 and 2007. He progressed to the Under-19 side in 2008 and the Under–21 side in 2009 and 2010. Senior career In 2010, he was included in the squad for the 2010 Vodacom Cup competition, but was an unused substitute on three occasions. He had better luck in the 2011 Vodacom Cup, making his debut for the team by coming on as a substitute in the season opener against the . George, Western Cape
George is the second largest city in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Craven Week
The Craven Week is an annual rugby union tournament organised for schoolboys in the Republic of South Africa. The tournament started in July 1964, and is named after the legendary Springbok rugby union player and coach Dr Danie Craven. The tournament has its humble beginnings in an idea by Piet Malan, then Springbok flanker, in 1949, around the time of the South African Rugby Board's 75th anniversary. He wanted schools to feature in the celebrations and approached Danie Craven in Potgietersrus on how this could be done. Dr Craven took the idea to his board who decided on getting the 15 schools unions together for a week. The man who kept the idea alive however was one Jan Preuyt, a former student at the University of Stellenbosch and teacher at Port Rex Technical School in East London.
