''Layers of Fear'' is a 2023 developed and published by Bloober Team. It is a remake of and sequel to the 2016 game '' Layers of Fear'' and its sequel ''Layers of Fear 2'' (2019), combining stories from the previous games with new content. The game was released for Windows, macOS, PlayStation 5 The PlayStation 5 (PS5) is a home video game console developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Announced as the successor to the PlayStation 4 in April 2019, it was launched on November 12, 2020, in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, North Ame ... and Xbox Series X and Series S in June 2023. Bloober Team S.A. is a Polish video game developer based in Kraków. Founded in November 2008 by Peter Babieno and Peter Bielatowicz, the company is best known for developing ''Layers of Fear'' (2016), ''Observer (video game), Observer'' (2017), ''Blair Witch (video game), Blair Witch'' (2019), and ''The Medium (video game), The Medium'' (2021). In January 2018, Bloober Team received the Paszport Polityki award in the "Digital Culture" category. History Bloober Team was founded by Peter Babieno and Peter Bielatowicz. The studio was originally part of Nibris, a developer set up in 2006, but sought to become independent through investor funding. The studio formally launched on 6 November 2008, employing 20 people in Kraków offices. Babieno became the chief executive officer for the company.
