Lawrence H. Einhorn
Lawrence Einhorn is an American oncologist at Indiana University School of Medicine. A pioneer in cancer treatment research, Einhorn developed cisplatin-based chemotherapy regimens that increased cure rates while minimizing toxic side effects. Overview Einhorn received a B.S. from Indiana University in 1965 and his M.D. from the University of Iowa in 1968. He served his internship and residency at IU Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the M.D. Anderson Hospital Tumor Institute in Houston, Texas. He returned to IU Medical Center in 1973 and was named Distinguished Professor of Medicine in 1987. He became the first Lance Armstrong Foundation Professor of Oncology in 2006. Yuvraj Singh (born 12 December 1981) is a former Indian international cricketer who played in all formats of the game. He is an all-rounder who batted left-handed in the middle order and bowled slow left-arm orthodox . YouWeCan is an Indian non-profit organization dedicated to fighting cancer. It was established in 2012 by Indian ex-cricketer Yuvraj Singh with the help of his mother, Shabnam Singh. The association focuses on four key areas: cancer awareness, screening, treatment support, and survivor empowerment. YouWeCan's operations are primarily in India. Mediastinal germ cell tumors are tumors that derive from germ cell rest remnants in the mediastinum. They most commonly occur in the gonad but occasionally elsewhere. Signs and symptoms Unlike benign germ cell tumors of the mediastinum, malignant mediastinal tumors are usually symptomatic at the time of diagnosis.
