Thomas Joseph Lawlor (born May 15, 1983) is an American professional wrestler, retired mixed martial artist and podcast host. He is best known for his time in Major League Wrestling (MLW), where he was a former one-time MLW World Heavyweight Champion and the winner of the first-ever Battle Riot in 2018 and the 2020 Opera Cup tournament. He currently appears for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he was the inaugural Strong Openweight Champion. Lawlor competed in the Light Heavyweight division of the UFC. Peter Lawlor
Peter Lawlor (born 1 March 1948 in Ayr, Queensland) is a former Labor Member for Southport in the Queensland Legislative Assembly. He served as Queensland Minister for Tourism and Fair Trading. Prior to his term in state parliament he previously served as a councillor on the Gold Coast City Council. Gold Coast City Council Lawlor served as a Gold Coast City councillor for two terms up to 1994; he chaired the council's planning committee for three years. During his time on council, Lawlor campaigned on environmental issues and to preserve the Gold Coast Broadwater. At the time Gold Coast City Council had nine aldermen and a mayor. Areas to the north and west of the Gold Coast came under the separate Shire of Albert until the amalgamation of the council and shire in 1995. In March 1988 Lawlor was elected as Division 3 alderman. Thomas Lawlor (opera Singer)
Thomas F. Lawlor (17 June 1938 – 9 October 2020) was an Irish opera singer. In the 1960s, he became known for his performances in mostly baritone roles of the Gilbert and Sullivan operas with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company. In the 1970s and 1980s, he performed over 60 operatic roles, usually as a bass-baritone, with various British opera companies. He was also a director in the opera department of the Royal Academy of Music and at Trinity College of Music. In later years, he moved to the US, where he continued to perform, direct and teach. Liam Lawlor
Liam Lawlor (1 October 1945 – 22 October 2005) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He resigned from the Fianna Fáil in 2000 following a finding by a party standards committee that he had failed to co-operate with its investigation into planning irregularities, and subsequently came into conflict with the Mahon Tribunal. Early life Lawlor was born in Dublin. He grew up in Crumlin and was educated at Synge Street CBS and the College of Technology, Bolton Street (now part of the Dublin Institute of Technology). In his youth he played hurling and was on the Dublin minor and the Leinster Railway Cup hurling teams. After college he went into the refrigeration business, running his own company. Edward Lawlor
Edward G. Lawlor (1907-1987), born in England into a Roman Catholic family and raised in Canada, was a minister for most of his adult life in the Church of the Nazarene. Edward Lawlor was born June 7, 1907, in South Bank, North Yorkshire. His father died when he was still quite young. At that point, his mother emigrated to Canada with her four children. At age 18, Edward was converted through the ministry of the Salvation Army. Not long after that he felt that God was calling him to preach. So he went to the Salvation ArmTraining Collegein Toronto. Gerri Lee Lawlor (May 16, 1969 – January 28, 2019) was an American actress, voice actress and homeless advocate. She was the co-creator, along with Marc Gimbel and Stephen Kearin, of the fictitious Simlish language used in ''The Sims''. Charlotte Lillian "Bob" Lawlor (3 October 1878 – 2 July 1941) was a New Zealand poet, writer and advertising designer. She created the character of Sergeant Dan to help sell Creamoata, a cereal product, in 1915. Biography Lawlor was born in Thames, New Zealand in 1878 and as a child was given the family nickname 'Bob', which she used her whole life. Her father was George James Lawlor and her mother was Augusta Eliza Lawlor (née Gray). Peter Lawlor (born 1982 in Croom, County Limerick) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Croom and has been a member of the Limerick senior inter-county team since 2002. Playing career Club Lawlor plays his club hurling with his local club in Croom and has enjoyed some success.
